A power outage has been reported in some western districts of Athens, as well as in central Athens as of Tuesday, July 16, after a breakdown at a public power station in Rouf. Affected areas include central Athens, Rouf, Korydallos, Egaleo, and Nea Smyrni districts. Traffic disruptions have been reported as traffic lights stopped working.

Lingering transportation and business disruptions are to be expected in Athens and its surroundings over the coming hours until power is restored.
