Spain: Ground workers at Bilbao Airport (BIO) to strike August 14-16

The General Union of Workers (UGT) announced that Iberia ground workers will hold a series of walkouts at Bilbao Airport (BIO) (Biscay province, Basque country) from Wednesday, August 14, to Friday, August 16, in protest of working conditions. The walkouts will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 (local time); 12:00 to 14:00; 18:00 to 20:00; and 22:00 to 23:59 each day. Airline officials stated that the walkouts will not significantly disrupt flight operations; however, flight cancelations and delays cannot be ruled out.
