Spain: Protest scheduled in Madrid November 17

Veterinarians in Madrid have scheduled a protest for Sunday, November 17, to demand that the new government recognize their trade as a part of the network of health professionals and the National Health System (SNS). Participants will gather at the Puerta del Sol at 12:00 (local time) and will later march to the Ministry of Health with stops at the Ministry of Finance and Plaza de Las Cortes.

Associated transportation disruptions are to be expected along the march route.
