Storm Brendan has prompted the cancelation of several domestic Aer Lingus flights to and from Shannon Airport (SNN) on Monday, January 13. Wind gusts of 119 kph (74 mph) were recorded on the island, and at least 21,000 homes and businesses are without power. The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) also advised against visiting Killarney National Park. Orange wind weather warnings will remain in place across the island until 22:00 (local time) on Monday.
