Norway: Reports of stabbing incident in Bergen August 13

Police have cordoned off Danmarksplass square in Bergen on Thursday, August 13, following an alleged stabbing incident that has left at least two people injured. Reportedly, one person has been arrested in connection with the incident. Emergency services were called to the square at 14:17 (local time), and remain on the scene. 

A heightened security presence is to be anticipated in the short term.
