Greece: Aviation sector strike scheduled for October 7 and 8

An air traffic controllers strike is scheduled to take place in Greece from Wednesday, October 7 to Thursday, October 8. The strike has been organized by the Air Traffic Controllers Association (EEEKE) and the Union of Electric Engineers for Air Traffic Safety (ENIMAEK) and is being held over several disputes including unpaid salaries. The stoppage of work for the EEEKE workers will occur from 08:00 to 12:00 (local time) on both days while ENIMAEK workers will stop work from 12:00 to 16:00 on both days.
