Armenia: Opposition supporters to protest in central Yerevan March 3

Opposition activists led by the Homeland Salvation Movement will protest in Yerevan March 3 to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Participants will gather on Marshal Baghramyan Avenue from 1600.

Police will deploy to monitor the event and will likely respond forcibly to any disruptive behavior. Related crowd-control measures, including possible road closures and movement restrictions, are likely to prompt localized disruptions. Clashes are possible between demonstrators and security personnel or opposing activists.
