Activists plan to hold demonstrations in multiple cities throughout Latin America on March 7-8 to demand equal rights for women as part of the commemoration of International Women's Day. Organizers have confirmed the following specific events:
Monterrey, Mexico: Rally at Colegio Civil starting 1130 March 7
Mexico City, Mexico: March from Monumento a la Revolucion to the Zocalo starting at 1330 March 8
San Jose, Costa Rica: March from Parque Central starting at 1600 March 8
Liberia, Costa Rica: Rally outside Tribunales de Justicia starting at 1600 March 8
Caracas, Venezuela: March from Plaza Bolivar to Plaza Morelos starting at 1200 March 8
Bogota, Colombia: March from Parque Nacional to Plaza de Bolivar starting at 1400 March 8
