The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) community will host its 44th Pride March in downtown Mexico City, Mexico, June 25. Participants will gather at the Angel de la Independencia monument at 10:00 before marching along Avenida Paseo de la Reforma toward Avenida Juarez from 12:00. The parade will then continue to its final destination at Centro Historico/Zocalo, where various festivities will occur.

Hundreds to several thousand people are likely to participate in the event. The march will likely pass peacefully. Authorities will almost certainly deploy an increased police presence in the city as a precaution and to facilitate the parade. Localized transport and business disruptions are probable.
