Event

The Tretton Bru road bridge in Gudbrandsdale collapsed early Aug. 15. Emergency teams are responding to the incident. The road bridge is impassable to traffic. The cause of the collapse is unclear. The bridge is adjacent to the main E6 route, 180 km (112 miles) north of Oslo.

Alternative road bridges are accessible around 10 km (6 miles) north and south of the affected area. Road transport will, however, be severely disrupted in the area in the coming days.

Expect road traffic delays and disruptions, including on the main E6 route as emergency services respond to the bridge collapse. Avoid the area if possible. Follow local travel advice and allow extra time for travel.
