Bolivia: Pro-government demonstrators plan to march in La Paz Aug. 25

Activists plan to stage a march in La Paz Aug. 25 in support of Bolivia's President Luis Arce. The participants will gather at 08:00 in La Ceja, located in the El Alto municipality of La Paz Metropolitan Area, and march to Plaza Mayor de San Francisco, in the center of the capital.

Disruptions to ground traffic are likely early Aug. 25. An increased police presence is likely near demonstration sites. Counter protests are possible. Clashes involving activists and police are possible.
