Pakhtunkhwa Jamhoori Ittehad, an alliance of opposition parties, has called for a rally in Peshawar (Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province) on Friday, January 24, to denounce the ongoing flour crisis and related price hikes. Participants plan to gather at 14:00 (local time) at the Khyber Bazaar and then head to the Peshawar Press Club.

The same group announced that they will participate in another demonstration on Sunday, January 26, to commemorate the death anniversary of Kakaji Sanobar Hussain Momand, an important figure of the independence war.
