La Paz to celebrate pedestrian day on September 3; vehicle use prohibited until 18:00 (local time)

La Paz will celebrate the annual “Pedestrian Day” on Sunday, September 3. From 00:00 (local time) until 18:00, vehicles will be prohibited from operating within city limits. Officials have announced that recreational activities will be held at various public spaces throughout the city.
Officials say emergency services and airport transfers will operate as normal.
Context
Each year, officials dedicate the first Sunday of September as “Pedestrian Day,” with the intention of promoting walking and use of public spaces as well as to reduce pollution.
