The system is currently expected to intensify and move north-northwest in the coming days. If forecasts hold, the ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla, and Payra will be the first impacted as the storm moves inland. Flash flooding is possible in low-lying areas in the event of heavy rains.
