Transportation workers unions schedule nationwide strike for July 12; transportation disruptions expected

Transportation workers are slated to participate in a nationwide strike on Friday, July 12, in demands for a better salary agreement and bonuses after negotiations have failed. Should no agreement be found by Thursday, July 11, service disruptions should be expected throughout the day and in all areas except for Buenos Aires, as transport employees in Buenos Aires are in negotiations.

Employees and the Argentine Federation of Transporters by Passenger Car (Fatap) are scheduled to continue negotiating after the strike.

Associated transportation disruptions should be expected throughout.
