Protesters gathered in Buenos Aires and cities nationwide on Saturday, June 20, against a potential government expropriation of a bankrupt agricultural company that was recently blocked by a court. Protesters gathered at 16:00 (local time) in the vicinity of the Obelisco before marching to Casa Rosada. Protests also occurred in La Plata (Buenos Aires province). Demonstrations were also reported in Santa Fe, and the cities of Esperanza, San Lorenzo and in the vicinity of the National Flag Monument in Rosario. Protesters also blocked demonstrated near the intersection of National Route 11 and Route 31 in Avellaneda (Santa Fe province), where the company is located. Traffic disruptions also occurred in the vicinity of the Patio Olmos shopping center in Córdoba where protesters had gathered in vehicles. Gatherings were also reported in Sinsacare (Córdoba province), Jesús María (Córdoba province) and Caroya (Córdoba province). In Mendoza, protesters also gathered on the intersection of San Martín and Garibaldi. Gatherings were also reported in Chaco, Corrientes, and Salta provinces.

Further unrest regarding the issue could occur in the near term. Associated disruptions to transportation and business could occur at potential demonstration sites.
