Further clashes are possible after fatal violence between two communities in Foro Baranga, West Darfur State, May 28-29. According to reports, unknown assailants shot and killed a shop owner outside his business facilities, resulting in protests and unrest, resulting in an unknown number of casualties. Protesters set several shops alight and closed all main roads entering the town; the status of the roads remains unclear as of June 1.
