Activists associated with the "Neighborhoods Standing Up" (Barrios de Pie) organization along with other groups are staging a march in Cordoba Sept. 21. Participants are marching from the Puente Centenario to Patio Olmos mall, where the event is scheduled to conclude 13:00. Protesters are primarily demonstrating to demand the government raise the minimum wage for workers. Localized traffic disruptions have already occurred near the Puente Centenario and are likely to occur along the march route.

Security personnel will likely deploy to monitor the march. Although the event is likely to pass without significant violence, clashes between demonstrators and security personnel may occur if participants are overly disruptive or block roads.
