Authorities in Cayman Islands lift all remaining COVID-19-related travel restrictions, ease domestic measures Aug. 24.

Informational

Event

Authorities in the Cayman Islands have lifted all remaining COVID-19-related travel restrictions and most domestic measures Aug. 24. Proof of vaccination, pre-travel COVID-19 tests, and declarations will no longer be required for entry. Facemask mandates have also been lifted.

Domestic Measures
Most restrictions have been lifted. While the government lifted facemask mandates, medical institutions, care homes, and prisons reserve the right to continue to require that individuals wear facemasks. Additionally, those who test positive for COVID-19 in the Cayman Islands are still required to self-isolate for seven days.

International Travel Restrictions
Officials are not imposing any COVID-19-related restrictions on international travel.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, tighten, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
