The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) community plan to host Pride marches in central Cordoba, Argentina, and Santiago, Chile, Nov. 19. Participants in Cordoba will gather at 16:00 at Plaza de los Presidentes Argentinos Cordobeses at the intersection of General Paz and La Tablada to commence their procession. In Santiago, participants will gather at Plaza Italia (Plaza Baquedano) at 14:00 to start their march.

Tens of thousands of people will probably participate in Santiago, while hundreds to several thousand people are likely in Cordoba. Heightened security is almost certain as a precaution and to facilitate the parades. Localized transport and business disruptions are likely. The events will probably pass peacefully.
