Argentina: Education workers in Chubut Province plan strike and protest Nov. 15

Education workers from the Association of Education Workers of Chubut (La Asociacion de Trabajadores de la Educacion del Chubut, ATECh) are planning to strike throughout Chubut Province Nov. 15 to demand better salaries and working conditions. They will also hold a protest at the Ministry of Economy in Rawson from 11:00.

Disruptions to schools are almost certain throughout Chubut Province Nov. 15; workplaces may be disrupted by employees needing to care for school-age children. Protests may occur in other areas of Rawson, particularly near government buildings. Localized disruptions are likely near gatherings.
