Government workers affiliated with the Association of State Workers (Asociacion de Trabajadores del Estado, ATE) plan to hold a 24-hour provincewide Strike in Cordoba on Nov. 16 to demand that regional authorities increase their salaries. The strike will begin when protesters gather for a demonstration at the Convention Center of Cordoba at 09:00 and will last until 09:00 on Nov. 17. The action will likely pass peacefully. Related gatherings are possible throughout the rest of the province.

Authorities will almost certainly deploy an increased police presence near any additional demonstrations throughout the province as a precaution. Clashes between protesters and security forces cannot be ruled out, especially if authorities forcibly disperse crowds. Localized transport and business disruptions are likely.
