Unionized teachers affiliated with several unions, including the Association of Secondary and Higher Education Teachers (Asociacion de Ensenanza Media y Superior, ADEMYS), plan to hold a 24-hour strike in the city of Buenos Aires, Cordoba Province, and Chubut Province on Feb. 27 to demand improved salaries.

Activists are likely to hold protests in several cities throughout both the provinces of Cordoba and Chubut, in addition to the city of Buenos Aires. One confirmed demonstration will occur at 12:00 at the government headquarters in the city of Buenos Aires.
