Anti-abortion activists plan to participate in the 8th annual March for Life in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires March 25. Participants will gather from 14:00 at the Plaza Italia and then march along Avenida Sarmiento and Avenida del Libertador before reaching Plaza Ruben Dario.
Thousands of people could take part in the event. Heightened security, as well as localized transport and business disruptions, are likely. Opposing activist groups could attempt to stage counterprotests, though clashes are unlikely.
