Argentina: Unionized subway workers plan strike in Buenos Aires 13:00-16:00 May 10

Members of the Association of Subway and Premetro Workers (Asociacion Gremial de Trabajadores del Subte y Premetro, AGTSyP) union plan to strike on Lines D, E and the Premetro of the Buenos Aires Subway (Subterraneos de Buenos Aires, also known as the Subte), 13:00-16:00 May 10. The purpose of the action is to demand increased salaries and a shorter work week, and it follows similar protest actions in recent days and weeks.

Crowded conditions, delays on operable subway lines, and increased demand for alternative means of transport are almost certain during the work stoppage.
