Event

Officials may expand the scope of the measures and/or institute enhanced security measures, such as roadblocks and telecommunication curbs, depending on the severity of the perceived threat. Related demonstrations may occur despite the public gathering restrictions. Typical rally venues include prominent government buildings, public grounds, and thoroughfares. Such gatherings may draw dozens of participants. Further clashes between supporters of rival political camps, as well as between activists and police, cannot be ruled out. Associated localized transport and business disruptions may occur.
