Authorities in Mali continue to maintain COVID-19-related domestic measures and travel restrictions as of June 22.

Domestic Measures
Domestically, wearing facemasks is no longer mandatory in public spaces but is recommended. All social activities can be held at full capacity, provided participants are fully vaccinated. Individuals who test positive in-country are expected to self-isolate for a two-week period.

International Travel Restrictions
Air and land borders are open. Enhanced screening measures are likely in effect. Fully vaccinated travelers can enter and leave the country without restrictions. Unvaccinated travelers must present a negative result from a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival. Upon departure from Mali, unvaccinated travelers must present a negative result from a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before travel. Travelers may be subject to complete a COVID-19 surveillance questionnaire upon arrival.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
