Argentina: Unionized health workers to hold a provincial strike and protest in Mendoza July 7
Unionized health workers plan to hold a provincewide strike and march in the city of Mendoza, Argentina, on July 7.

Unionized health workers, affiliated with the Mendoza Association of Health Professionals (Asociacion Mendocina de Profesionales de la Salud, AMPROS), plan to hold a 24-hour provincewide strike in the Mendoza province July 7 to demand higher wages and improved benefits.
AMPROS members also plan to hold a march in the city of Mendoza, gathering at the intersection of Nudo Vial Costanera and Avenida Jose Vicente Zapata, starting at 11:00. From there, they are likely to march to Mendoza's Provincial government offices located along Avenida Peltier.
Hundreds are likely to participate in the march, which will likely trigger heightened security and transport disruptions along its route. Non-emergency medical services throughout the province of Mendoza are likely to be limited on July 7.
