Argentina: Unionized teachers launch strike and plan protest march in Buenos Aires Sept. 6

Unionized teachers affiliated with the Association of Secondary and Higher Education Teachers (Asociacion de Ensenanza Media y Superior, ADEMYS), have launched a 24-hour strike and will protest in Buenos Aires on Sept. 6 to make labor-related demands. Participants will gather from 12:00 at El Palacio Sarmiento, also known as Palacio Pizzurno, located on Pasaje Pizzurno.
