Bolivia: Farmers suspend nationwide road blockades planned for Sept. 4 /update 1

The development follows a meeting between organizers and various social groups. Participants are giving the government until Oct. 15 to address their demands, including the handover of CSUTCB headquarters in La Paz, which is allegedly under police control. If authorities fail to respond, an indefinite national blockade will begin Oct. 16.
