Bolivia: Truckers suspend nationwide strike planned for Oct. 9-10 /update 1

The Union Confederation of Drivers of Bolivia (Confederacion Sindical de Choferes de Bolivia, CSCB), a labor union representing truck drivers, suspended the nationwide strike that was planned for Oct. 9-10. Participants were denouncing alleged poor road conditions and excessive fees and fines. However, the activists reached a deal with the government and suspended the strike.
