Bolivian truckers suspend nationwide strike after agreement with the government as of June 26.
Truck drivers affiliated with the Bolivian Chamber of National and International Transport (Camera Boliviana de Transporte Nacional e Internacional, CBT) have suspended plans for a nationwide strike as of June 26. The strike was initially slated to take place on June 27 and the purpose of the action was to denounce a perceived lack of foreign currency and to demand that fuel distribution be normalized. However, activists reached an agreement with the government.
