Flight delays, cancelations likely at Modibo Keita International Airport in Bamako, Mali, through July 15 due to fuel shortages.

Warning

Flight disruptions, including delays and cancelations, are likely at Bamako’s Modibo Keita International Airport (BKO) as of July 10 due to fuel shortages. The National Civil Aviation Agency of Mali (ANAC MALI) warned that the fuel shortage will continue through at least July 15. Some airlines, including Ethiopian Airlines and Turkish Airlines, have reportedly canceled flights over the coming days.

Confirm flight reservations if scheduled to travel via BKO through July 15. Do not check out of accommodations until onward travel is confirmed. Consider making alternative arrangements for time-sensitive travel if necessary.
