Bolivia: Orange snow alerts in the west July 13-15

The national weather service SENAMHI has issued orange alerts, the second-highest level, for areas in the west of the country due to snow forecast for Friday, July 13, through Sunday, July 15. The alerts are in place in high-elevation areas in central and southern areas of the departments of La Paz, Oruro, and Potosí, as well as parts of Chuquisaca.

Associated transportation disruptions and power outages are possible.
