Egypt: Passenger train derails near Giza July 13

A passenger train out of Cairo bound for Qena derailed near Giza on Friday, July 13, leaving at least 55 people injured. The incident occurred when three of the train's cars derailed near Marazeeq Station. A security cordon has been put in place around the accident site and an investigation is underway to determine what caused the cars to go off the rails.
