Mali: Indefinite nationwide judges’ strike

A spokesman for the national judges' union announced on Monday, August 27, that judges across Mali launched an indefinite strike on Tuesday, August 28. Judges are protesting against poor salaries and working conditions and are also demanding better security for their workers. No services will be provided during strike. Related demonstrations are possible in the coming days and weeks.
