Opposition parties call for demonstration in Bamako on December 8; avoid all protests

Opposition parties have called for a demonstration to be held in Bamako on Saturday, October 8. According to local sources, the demonstration is being organized to protest the government of President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta. As of Tuesday, December 4, organizers have not announced the time and place of the demonstrations. Nevertheless, demonstrations are habitually organized at Monument de l'Indépendence and Place de la Liberté.
