Officials in Santa Cruz de la Sierra are imposing movement restrictions in the city starting May 23. Under the measure, all persons must remain in their homes 20:00-05:00 Monday-Saturday and all day on Sundays. Additionally, parties and public events and the consumption of alcohol in public spaces will be prohibited. The local restrictions will be in effect until at least May 31.

These measures may include scheduling and capacity limits or restrictions on commercial operating hours or vehicular movements.
