Bolivia: Police carry out major operation in Santa Cruz Department

Police are conducting a major operation in the Santa Cruz de la Sierra metropolitan region June 22. The operation comes after an attack that killed two police officers and a civilian volunteer who worked with them late in Porongo on June 21. As part of the operation, police are setting up roadblocks, stopping cars, and searching properties across the area in an attempt to locate the perpetrators of the attack.
