Argentina: Teachers' union plans protest in Bahia Blanca, Buenos Aires Province, July 14

Educators affiliated with the Unified Union of Education Workers of Buenos Aires (El Sindicato Unificado de Trabajadores de la Educacion de Buenos Aires, SUTEBA) are planning a demonstration July 14 to demand better working conditions. Participants will gather from 10:00 at Plaza Rivadavia, in front of the Palacio Municipal.

Several hundred teachers may attend the demonstration, which will likely remain peaceful. Heightened security and localized traffic disruptions are likely.
