Warning

Event

Left-wing activists from the Frente de Todos Coalition are likely to protest in the city of Buenos Aires and the wider Buenos Aires Province following the verdict of Vice President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner's corruption trial Dec. 6. The final ruling will be given at 09:30 at the Federal Oral Court (TOF) No. 2. While organizers have not yet announced a specific course of action in case of a guilty verdict, any demonstrations that materialize are likely to be well-attended and highly disruptive.

Police will almost certainly deploy in response to any protests that materialize and will likely disperse disruptive gatherings. Clashes between protesters and police cannot be ruled out. Ground travel delays are likely near any related demonstrations.

Advice

Avoid protests due to possible clashes. If violence breaks out, leave the area immediately. Follow all security personnel instructions. Allow additional travel time near gatherings. Do not attempt to cross roadblocks, as protesters may react violently.
